Within the framework of the COMCEC Project Funding (CPF), that was introduced by the COMCEC Coordination Office (CCO) in 2013 as a financing mechanism that finances projects submitted by the Member Countries and relevant OIC Institutions, SESRIC implemented several projects with the main aim of realising the strategic objectives and outcomes of the COMCEC Strategy as well as the relevant policy recommendations adopted by COMCEC Ministerial Sessions.

SESRIC Projects that got funded by the COMCEC fall under various cooperation areas and were designed in accordance with sectoral themes determined by the CCO. The activities under these projects were geared towards increasing the human resources capacities of the relevant national institutions of the participating OIC member countries.
