Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, the Gambia, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Maldives, Mozambique, Nigeria, Qatar, Senegal, Tunisia and Turkey.

The overall objective of the project was to deepen the knowledge of the relevant government officials from Tourism Ministries/ Departments of 13 selected OIC Member Countries on Islamic tourism ecosystem, destination and industry development via a capacity building training and a study visit with the main aim of experience and knowledge exchange. This project was organised in connection with the previous project; 2016-SESRIC-205, that was also funded by the COMCEC, with a view to further building on the acquired knowledge and skills through the capacity building activities organised then.
