Diplomacy is the key instrument in fulfilling a country’s foreign policy objective of influencing other countries and securing its national interest as well as for preserving peace against war. Diplomacy has a significant role in guiding international relations through the mediation of professional diplomats with regard to issues of peace-making, war, trade, environment, economics, culture, and human rights. Due to the high importance of building the diplomatic capacities of OIC Member States, SESRIC launched the Diplomacy Capacity Building Programme (Diplomacy-CaB) in 2017 to provide trainings on issues of interest to the OIC diplomatic community.

SESRIC urges all Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the OIC Member States to participate in the Diplomacy Capacity Building Programme (Diplomacy-CaB). The valuable participation of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs will help SESRIC to effectively plan and implement capacity building training activities which will play an important role in the improvement of human capital in the OIC Member States.
