The Certificate Ceremony for International Trade Unionism and Social Policy Training Programme was held in Ankara on 25 May 2017. The ceremony was attended by H.E. Amb. Musa Kulaklıkaya, Director General of SESRIC, H.E. Mr. Ali Yalçın, President of MEMURSEN and H.E. Prof. Dr. Onur Ender Aslan, Director General of TODAİE, and certificates were distributed to 25 participants from 25 different confederations in different countries in the area of trade unionism and social policy.

The ceremony was capped with a speech from H.E. Amb. Musa Kulaklıkaya, Director General of SESRIC, in which he stressed on the importance of this programme and its effectiveness in developing the capacities of member states in a very important sector. He also thanked the SESRIC partners MEMURSEN and TODAİE for their support for the organization and management of the programme and hoped that such cooperation would be renewed in the near future.

The Certificate Ceremony for International Trade Unionism and Social Policy Training Programme is geared towards obtaining a common background with respect to labour and international relations, improve external relations capacity of confederations, facilitate exchange of knowledge and experience, and provide a ground for the establishment of cooperation among the confederations. The programme also provides the participants with a chance to improve their awareness and knowledge with issues related to trade unionism and social policy.
