SESRIC Participated in the 45th Session of the Committee for the Coordination of Statistical Activities (CCSA) in the Margins of the 56th Session of the United Nations Statistical Commission

SESRIC participated in the 45th Session of the Committee for the Coordination of Statistical Activities (CCSA), held on 3 March 2025 in New York, in the margins of the 56th Session of the United Nations Statistical Commission (UNSC). The meeting brought together representatives from international and supranational organizations to enhance inter-agency coordination and cooperation on statistics.

During the session, the Committee discussed various key agenda items and delivered joint statements to the Commission on the following topics:

  • National Accounts
  • Population and Housing Censuses
  • Working Methods of the Statistical Commission
  • Fundamental Principles of Official Statistics
  • Data and Indicators for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development

SESRIC contributed to the discussions, particularly on the use of emerging technologies and capacity development in statistical systems across OIC Member Countries. The Centre reaffirmed its commitment to fostering collaboration with international partners to enhance statistical coordination and support the implementation of global statistical standards.
