Within the framework of its Statistical Capacity Building (StatCaB) Programme, SESRIC organised a Training Course on “Price Statistics” on 13-14 August 2024 with the participation of 88 experts from the National Statistical Offices and other governmental organizations of 31 OIC countries through an online video conferencing platform.

The training course was provided by prominent experts at BPS-Statistics Indonesia. The 2-day training course included 4 sessions, and enhanced the technical capacities of the participants in Price Statistics, focusing on the following areas:

• Compilation of CPI in Indonesia
• Source of Weights and Basket Commodity of CPI
• Modernization of CPI Data Collection
• Compilation of PPI in Indonesia & PPI Development
