Bilateral Meeting between SESRIC and Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the OIC to Further Strengthen Cooperation

H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Amb. Saleh Bin Hamad AL SUHAIBANI, Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), in Jeddah. The meeting underlined SESRIC's continuous commitment to fostering cooperation among OIC countries through its diverse capacity-building programs.

During their discussions, H.E. SELÇUK emphasized the impactful work of SESRIC under its 24 different capacity-building programs. She highlighted that SESTRIC has successfully organized more than 130 capacity-building activities, benefiting over 320 participants from various national institutions of Saudi Arabia. These activities have played a crucial role in enhancing institutional capacities and facilitating the exchange of best practices and significantly contributed to the strengthening of institutional frameworks, the enhancement of statistical capabilities and the promotion of knowledge sharing among national institutions in Saudi Arabia.

H.E. Amb. AL SUHAIBANI expressed his appreciation for SESRIC's ongoing support and the positive impact of its capacity-building initiatives. He acknowledged the vital role these programs play in advancing the capabilities of Saudi institutions and contributing to the broader development of objectives of the Kingdom.

The meeting also explored potential avenues for further collaboration between SESRIC and national institutions of Saudi Arabia. Both parties expressed a strong commitment to deepening their partnership and identifying new opportunities for cooperation in order to promote sustainable development across various sectors.

The meeting between H.E. SELÇUK and H.E. Amb. AL SUHAIBANI ended with a shared commitment to achieving common development goals and advancing the well-being of the people of the YC countries through effective cooperation and mutual support.
