Students from Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli (AHBV) University Paid a Visit to SESRIC

SESRIC hosted a group of 32 students from 14 OIC countries, currently studying at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli (AHBV) University, at its headquarters. The Centre regularly welcomes students from esteemed universities in member countries to enrich their understanding of SESRIC’s activities in the areas of statistics, research, and training, and its contribution to the development of OIC countries.

At the outset, H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK welcomed the students and invited them to apply to SESRIC’s Emerging Talents Capacity Building (SET-CAB) Programme. This Programme offers them a valuable opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals from various fields, thereby enriching their skills and knowledge. H.E. SELÇUK wished the students success in their future careers.

The programme continued with a presentation by Dr. Atilla KARAMAN, Chief of Cabinet of SESRIC. Following the presentation, the students introduced themselves and posed questions. They showed great enthusiasm for SESRIC’s activities and its capacity building programmes, particularly the SET-CAB Programme.

On his turn, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tayfun HAYKIR, Director of the Language Teaching, Application, and Research Center (DİLMER) at AHBV, thanked SESRIC for hosting the students and expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to learn more about the OIC and SESRIC. He noted that the information would be valuable for the students’ studies related to OIC countries.

At the end of the visit, Dr. HAYKIR invited SESRIC to visit AHBV University to strengthen collaboration and explore future joint activities.
