Workshop on 'Empowering MSMEs in OIC Member Countries through Green Climate Finance'

Within the framework of its Social Development Capacity Building Programme (SD-CaB) and the Vocational Education and Training Programme for the OIC Member Countries (OIC-VET), SESRIC, in collaboration with the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (KOBIA), will organise a Workshop on “Empowering MSMEs in OIC Member Countries through Green Climate Finance” on 9-10 July 2024 through an online video conferencing platform.

The workshop aims to promote the use of green climate finance mechanisms to support the growth and sustainability of MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises) in OIC countries. It will address challenges faced by MSMEs in accessing green finance, share best practices, and identify opportunities for collaboration among stakeholders to enhance support for MSMEs in adopting green practices. Additionally, the workshop aims to raise awareness about sustainable practices among MSMEs and facilitate the development of policies and strategies to promote green entrepreneurship and innovation.
