The discussions between the two sides revolved around augmenting the scope of collaboration between SESRIC and Kazakhstan. During the meeting, H.E. SELÇUK underlined that Kazakh national institutions have both benefited from and contributed to the SESRIC’s activities. In turn, H.E. SAPIYEV thanked H.E. SELÇUK for her kind visit and for the mutual support extended by SESRIC to Kazakh institutions, emphasizing that they have actively participated in capacity-building activities, ranging from central banking to statistics, agriculture to tourism, among others. In this regard, collaboration with the Bureau of National Statistics (BNS) of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been notably very productive.

The meeting ended with both dignitaries renewing their commitment towards fostering cooperation, leveraging expertise, and advancing socio-economic development within the OIC countries and beyond.
