On the margnis of the 7^th Session of the Annual Coordination Meeting of OIC Institutions (7^th ACMOI) held on 17-18 January 2024, H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Mohammed Saud ALMUTAIRI, the Permanent Representative of Kuwait to the OIC.

The primary focus of the meeting centered on identifying avenues for cooperation between the Centre and public institutions of the State of Kuwait. H.E. SELÇUK undelined the active participation of Kuwaiti national institutions in the initiatives of SESRIC over the years. This collaboration has resulted in the organisation of a total of 91 capacity-building activities, encompassing training courses, workshops, webinars, meetings, and projects.

During the meeting, H.E. Mohammed Saud ALMUTAIRI thanked H.E. SELÇUK for her visit and emphasized Kuwait’s readiness to both share their expertise and to benefit from SESRIC’s activities, particularly in the areas of statistics, research, and technical cooperation.

The meeting ended with both parties expressing a stronger partnership between SESRIC and Kuwait, recognizing the value of continued collaboration in advancing mutual goals.
