Within the framework of its Statistical Capacity Building (StatCaB) Programme, SESRIC organised an Online Training Course on 'SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) Indicators' with the participation of 30 attendees from the National Statistical Offices (NSOs) of 7 OIC countries on 01-04 June 2021.

Mr. Christian BOGA, Economist and Statistical Analyst at the National Institute of Statistics (INS) of Côte d'Ivoire, conducted the course which covered the following topics:

• Presentation of the Global SDG Monitoring Framework
• Introduction to Measuring SDG 3: Concepts, Methodology for Calculation, Disaggregation
• Application of the Calculation of SDG 3 Indicators on the Household Survey Database
• Model of SDG 3 Trend Projection

The course was conducted through a video conferencing platform by following synchronous learning and instruction approaches designed in line with the virtual training solutions undertaken by SESRIC in order to better serve the Centre’s training activities and keep participants motivated and engaged during this time of global crisis due to COVID-19.
