SESRIC initiated University Capacity Building Programme (UNI-CaB) in 2014 aiming at strengthening the institutional capacities of the universities in the OIC Member States. The programme enables universities to enhance their institutional capacities through making inter-university partnerships, which leads to accessing international networks and expertise, expanding their own education and research activities, enhancing developmental perspectives, identifying and overcoming the challenges regarding higher education issues as well as to assisting each other in the administrative development.

SESRIC urges all public universities in the OIC Member States to participate in University Capacity Building Programme (UNI-CaB). The valuable participation of the Public Universities will help SESRIC to effectively plan and implement capacity building training activities which will play an important role in the improvement of human capital in the OIC Member States.
