Within the scope of its mandate, the SESRIC continues to carry out and initiate various activities related to tourism development and cooperation in the Member Countries. In this context, SESRIC has developed a section on tourism in its main database "BASEIND", where it regularly updates it. SESRIC has been regularly preparing the report on "International Tourism in the OIC Countries: Prospects and Challenges" since the 1st Islamic Conference of Tourism Ministers (ICTM), which was held in Isfahan, Iran in 2000. The report has been submitted to the ICTMs and other OIC Meetings on Tourism. Within the framework of OIC Tourism Capacity Building Programme (Tourism-CaB), SESRIC organizes, in collaboration with international and national institutions, training programmes and workshops on various fields related to Tourism.
