H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Zhakupova Svetlana KABYKENOVNA, Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, on the sidelines of the UN-OIC General Meeting on Cooperation on 22-24 July 2024 in Astana.

During the meeting, discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in health, education, employment, and social services. H.E. KABYKENOVNA shared her insights on their Digital Family Map, a secure platform containing credential information, and their programmes aimed at improving citizens' quality of life and facilitating social support.

On her part, H.E. SELÇUK emphasized key initiatives of SESRIC, such as OIC-PESNET, OIC-OSHNET, and SD-CaB to which she extended an invitation for Kazakhstan’s participation and technical contribution. Additionally, H.E. SELÇUK mentioned the strategic reports prepared by SESRIC that are submitted to the relevant OIC Ministerial Conferences convened in the domains of labour and social development.

The meeting concluded with both dignitaries expressing their willingness to continue their cooperation and work together on future projects that align with their shared goals of enhancing social protection and improving citizens' well-being.
