H.E. Mr. Nebil DABUR, Director General of SESRIC, paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Dr. Salim Mohammed ALMALIK, Director General of ISESCO, on 01 October 2019, on the sideline of the 8th Islamic Conference of Environment Ministers.

During the visit, H.E. Mr. DABUR, congratulated H.E. Dr. ALMALIK for his appointment as the Director General of ISESCO, wishing to him and the ISESCO all the best in the endeavors towards providing high- quality services to the OIC Member States in the areas of education, science and culture. He also exchanged views with H.E. Dr. ALMALIK on ways and means of enhancing the existing cooperation ties between the two institutions.

On the sideline of the visit, a joint committee meeting has been held between ISESCO and SESRIC in order to identify a number of specific projects, programs and activities to be implemented jointly by the two institutions during the period 2020-2023 and to be annexed to the new MoU which is planned to be signed by the two institutions by the end of this year. As a result of the meeting, in total, a set of eighteen activities were identified to be implemented jointly during the period 2020-2023.
