Medical Doctors from Cameroon Received Certificates

The Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRIC), in collaboration with the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) and the Aegean International Federation of Health (ESAFED) organised a training course in Antalya, Republic of Turkey, for 2 medical doctors and 4 medical assistants from the Ngaundere State Hospital, Cameroon, within the framework of IbnSina Health Capacity Building Program of OIC. The training course took place between the period 15 August-15 November 2013 and was provided in Antalya Research and Training Hospital, approved by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey.

The training course was divided into the following subjects:

  • General Surgery Specialization (1 doctor) 
  • General Surgery Assistant Personnel (2 assistants)
  • Emergency Medicine Specialization (1 doctor)
  • Emergency Medince Assistant Personnel (2 assistants)

During the training course a mentor was assigned to each participant and the course level was adjusted to the level of the participant.
