H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Oumarou MAIGA, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Mali to the Republic of Türkiye, on 30 October 2026. During the visit, H.E. SELÇUK congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and extended her best wishes for a successful tenure.

The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on ways to strengthen cooperation between SESRIC and Mali, particularly in the areas of statistics, research, and capacity-building. Both sides discussed potential initiatives aimed at enhancing the capacities of relevant national institutions in Mali and supporting their efforts to address development priorities through knowledge-sharing and technical cooperation.
