SESRIC attended the 20^th OIC Exchanges Forum (OICEF) on “The Role of Capital Markets in Economic Development” on 7-8 October 2026. The Forum brought together stakeholders, executives, and experts from OIC member countries and featured insightful presentations from representatives of the COMCEC Coordination Office, Borsa İstanbul, Durham University Business School, and various central depositories and stock exchanges.  

The Forum aimed to share experiences, innovative practices, and policy approaches related to Islamic finance stability, market velocity, and the shift to T+1 settlement systems. It provided a platform for peer learning and knowledge exchange on how Islamic capital markets can drive real-economy growth and contribute to more resilient and sustainable economic development.
