SESRIC hosted a group of students from Gaza, who are pursuing their higher education across various Turkish universities, on 10 September 2026 at its Headquarters in Ankara.

During the visit, the student were briefed on the history, structure, and vision of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and SESRIC, as well as the Centre's activities in statistics, research, training, and technical cooperation aimed at supporting socio-economic development across member countries.

The students were also introduced to SESRIC’s Emerging Talents Capacity Building Programme (SET-CAB), which provides young professionals from OIC countries with an opportunity to develop their skills and gain hands-on experience in an international organisation setting.
