H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Ruslan KAZAKBAEV, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Türkiye, on 26 August 2026.

Both sides discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including the participation of Kyrgyz national institutions in SESRIC's capacity building activities. Discussions also covered the SESRIC Emerging Talents Capacity Building Programme (SET-CaB), the engagement of the Kyrgyz Republic with the OIC Statistical Commission (OIC-StatCom), and a possible joint event for Kyrgyz students in Türkiye in cooperation with the Embassy.

To date, SESRIC has implemented over 90 capacity-building activities for the benefit of the public institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic.
