Within the framework of its continuous efforts to strengthen institutional capacities and enhance the quality of its corporate communication, SESRIC organised a Training Course on "Effective Use of Social Media for Institutional Communication" for its staff members on 24 August 2026 at its HQs. The training was organised in collaboration with the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye.

The program addressed the importance of social media for institutional visibility and communication, how it can support the dissemination and impact of SESRIC's activities, and key principles for effective institutional use. It also covered accuracy, confidentiality, institutional reputation, copyright and appropriate tone, as well as practical examples of good and poor practices.

The training was organised as part of SESRIC's Human Resources Capacity Building Programme (HR-CaB), which aims to enhance the competencies and skills of SESRIC staff, in line with the Centre's commitment to professional development.
