SESRIC Participates in the Türkiye Education Technologies Summit (TETZ 2026) in Istanbul

SESRIC participated in the Türkiye Education Technologies Summit (TETZ 2026), held on 26–28 June 2026 in Istanbul, Republic of Türkiye. Organised under the auspices of the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Türkiye, the summit brought together policymakers, international organisations, academia, technology companies, startups, educators, and innovators to explore the transformative role of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies in the future of education.

Representing SESRIC, Mr. Abu Naser Huda, Acting Director of the Publications and Information Technology Department, attended the opening day of the summit and engaged with participants from public and private sectors to exchange views on recent developments in educational technologies and digital transformation.

The summit featured keynote speeches, panel discussions, and an extensive technology exhibition highlighting innovative solutions in artificial intelligence, digital learning, STEM education, smart classrooms, educational analytics, and immersive learning technologies. The discussions underscored the importance of harnessing emerging technologies to improve learning outcomes, foster innovation, and support the development of future-ready education systems.

On the sidelines of the summit, the SESRIC representative visited various exhibition stands and held discussions with representatives of educational technology companies, startups, and research institutions. These exchanges provided valuable insights into recent advances in AI-powered learning solutions, digital education platforms, and innovative technologies designed to enhance teaching and learning experiences.

SESRIC's participation in the summit provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge, strengthen professional networks, and gain insights into the latest developments in educational technologies. The insights gained during the event will support the Centre's ongoing activities in promoting knowledge sharing and capacity-building among OIC Member Countries in the fields of education, science, and technology.
