H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK met with H.E. Noureen Bano LEHRI, Chairperson of the National Commission on the Status of Women (NCSW) Pakistan, on the margins of the 9^th Session of the OIC Ministerial Conference on Women on 13 July 2026 in Islamabad.

The two sides discussed avenues for cooperation to advance the status of women across OIC Countries. Discussions covered possible joint capacity-building programmes, the strengthening of gender statistics to inform evidence-based policymaking, collaboration on research on the socio-economic status of women, and the exchange of knowledge and best practices.
