H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK met with H.E. Amb. Habib T.B. JARRA, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Welfare of the Republic of The Gambia, on the margins of the 9^th Session of the OIC Ministerial Conference on Women in Islamabad.

During the meeting, both sides explored ways to strengthen cooperation between SESRIC and the Ministry in areas of mutual interest, with a focus on advancing women's empowerment, child welfare, and social protection through capacity-building programmes, statistics, and technical cooperation.

The Republic of The Gambia currently serves as the Chair of the 15^th Islamic Summit of the OIC.
