SESRIC participated virtually in the Open Session of the 27^th ASEAN-OSHNET Coordination Board Meeting (CBM-27) and the 13^th ASEAN-OSHNET Conference (13^th AOC), held on 8 July 2026 in Da Nang City, Viet Nam.

The Open Session, entitled “Cooperation of ASEAN-OSHNET with External Parties”, brought together representatives of international and regional organisations working in the field of occupational safety and health (OSH), providing a platform to exchange experiences and strengthen cooperation.

During the session, SESRIC delivered a presentation entitled “SESRIC’s Initiatives to Promote Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in OIC Member Countries”. The presentation highlighted the Centre’s efforts to support OSH through capacity-building activities, technical cooperation and knowledge sharing under its Occupational Safety and Health Capacity Building Programme (OSH-CaB).

SESRIC also presented the work of the OIC Occupational Safety and Health Network (OIC-OSHNET), which promotes cooperation among national OSH institutions across OIC Member Countries. The presentation highlighted the Network’s activities in facilitating the exchange of expertise and supporting institutional capacity development.

The Centre further emphasised its long-standing cooperation with ASEAN-OSHNET, which has continued over the years through mutual participation in conferences, technical meetings and other joint activities. SESRIC reaffirmed its commitment to further strengthening this partnership and expanding cooperation between OIC-OSHNET and ASEAN-OSHNET.
