SESRIC participated in the Closing Conference of the "Support for Transition to Labour Market" Project (ISDEP 2), held on 19 June 2026 in Ankara, Türkiye. The ceremony marked the successful completion of the technical assistance project, which was implemented in collaboration with the World Bank and the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, and co-financed by the European Union (EU) and the Republic of Türkiye.

The event brought together key stakeholders from the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the Delegation of the European Union to Türkiye, the World Bank, and various national and international organizations.

Organized within the scope of the Labour Market Transition Support Project, the conference aimed to share the comprehensive results of the activities carried out, evaluate the outputs and impacts obtained, and discuss sustainability efforts. Furthermore, the event provided a platform for representatives from relevant institutions, experts, and project beneficiaries to share experiences gained during the implementation process, discuss current needs in accessing the labour market, and exchange views on strengthening inter-institutional cooperation. Crucially, the conference also showcased success stories from beneficiaries, providing firsthand accounts of the project’s tangible impact and real-world results.

The successful insights and models generated by the ISDEP 2 project offer valuable experience that can help inform similar efforts across OIC member countries to strengthen labour market transition systems and enhance socio-economic development.
