H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK convened a bilateral meeting with H.E. Dr. Abdulaziz bin Muhareb AL-SHIBANI on the margins of the 5^th Istanbul International Water Forum.

The meeting focused on opportunities to strengthen cooperation between SESRIC and the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture of Saudi Arabia in the areas of water resources management, water efficiency, climate resilience, and institutional capacity development.

Both sides exchanged views on the importance of enhancing knowledge-sharing and technical cooperation among OIC Member Countries to address growing water-related challenges and support sustainable development. In this regard, they discussed the potential to further strengthen collaboration through major international platforms, including COP31 and the 11^th World Water Forum.

The meeting concluded with both sides expressing their readiness to maintain close coordination and explore concrete joint initiatives in support of sustainable water management across OIC Countries.
