SESRIC participated in the 26th Meeting of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation (COMCEC) Poverty Alleviation Working Group, which was held on 21 April 2026 under the theme “Preventing the Skill Mismatch in the Labour Market of the OIC Member Countries.”

The agenda featured presentations from a COMCEC-supported research project, covering the scope, conceptual framework, and methodology of the research report. It also highlighted key findings from selected country case analyses, lessons learned, and the experiences and perspectives of member countries and international institutions. In addition, preliminary findings from the field visit to Saudi Arabia and the Türkiye case study were presented.

The meeting further provided an interactive platform for OIC countries to exchange experiences and perspectives. It concluded with a presentation by COMCEC on its Project Support Instruments, which are announced annually under specific thematic areas to support projects implemented by member countries and relevant institutions.
