Within the framework of the OIC Public Employment Service Network (OIC-PESNET) Work Plan 2024-2026 and the Public Employment Services Capacity Building Programme (PES-CaB), SESRIC, in collaboration with the National Agency for the Promotion of Employment and Skills of Morocco (ANAPEC), organised a Workshop on “Promoting Entrepreneurship Ecosystems in the OIC Member Countries for Sustainable Growth” on 16-17 February 2026. The workshop was delivered by competent experts from ANAPEC in French for the benefit of 63 participants from 14 French-speaking OIC countries.

The primary objective of this workshop was to increase awareness among participants regarding the vital role of entrepreneurship ecosystems in the OIC member countries. By understanding how entrepreneurship drives sustainable economic growth, participants were equipped to contribute to the development of their respective countries.

The workshop covered the following topics:

• Overview of ANAPEC’s Entrepreneurial Support Services
• ANAPEC’s Entrepreneurial Support Programs: Target Beneficiaries and the Role of the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem
• National Partnerships and International Cooperation in Strengthening the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem
• Regional Entrepreneurial Ecosystems in Focus: The Case of the Drâa-Tafilalet Region
