H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Ankara, H.E. Amb. Ilkhom KHAYDAROV. She extended her best wishes for success in his new role. 

The meeting focused on the longstanding partnership between SESRIC and Uzbekistan’s national institutions, as well as on exploring ways to further strengthen and expand this cooperation.

To date, SESRIC has implemented around 150 capacity-building activities and projects, benefiting more than 300 participants from Uzbekistan’s public institutions. In turn, national institutions of Uzbekistan have actively contributed to various activities organised by SESRIC.

Recently, SESRIC hosted a group of Uzbek students at its HQs, where they were introduced to the OIC, SESRIC’s mandate areas, and the Emerging Talents Capacity Building Programme (SET-CAB).
