H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK met with Dr. Ibrahim AL-BADOUR, Health Minister of Jordan, on the margins of the 8^th Islamic Conference of Health Ministers (ICHM) in Amman, Jordan.

They discussed strengthening cooperation between SESRIC and the Ministry of Health of Jordan in key areas of mutual interest, with a particular focus on the health domain. Areas of cooperation include advancing capacity-building initiatives for healthcare professionals, enhancing public health infrastructure, and implementing joint projects under the OIC Strategic Health Programme of Action. They also explored collaboration in health statistics and data analytics to support evidence-based policy-making, as well as initiatives to strengthen health system resilience.
