SESRIC participated in the 5^th Consultative Forum of the Regional Cooperation Organizations (RCOs) in the OIC Region, to be held on 2–3 October 2025 in Istanbul, Türkiye.

The Forum, jointly convened by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and the Islamic Centre for Development of Trade (ICDT) gathered RCOs, OIC institutions, regional development banks, and international organizations to foster structured policy dialogue and strengthen cooperation on regional integration.

Key discussions addressed tariff and non-tariff barriers to trade, investment promotion through public-private partnerships, enhancing maritime and road connectivity, and developing joint regional programmes.

Through its participation, SESRIC aimed to contribute with its expertise in research, statistics, and capacity building to promote evidence-based policymaking, facilitate knowledge exchange, and support initiatives for sustainable development, economic resilience, and inclusive growth across OIC Member States.
