SESRIC paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry of National Education of Türkiye and held a consultative meeting with Mr. Hüseyin KENDİRCİ, Deputy Director General of the Directorate General for Lifelong Learning.

During the meeting, SESRIC provided an overview of its mandate in the areas of research, statistics, and training and technical cooperation, with a particular focus on supporting capacity development across OIC Member States.

The exchange centred on potential collaborative efforts to design and implement skill-enhancement courses for women and families, especially housewives and children with special education needs, for the benefit of OIC Member Countries. Discussions addressed key aspects such as programme modalities and logistical arrangements.

The meeting concluded with a mutual expression of interest to strengthen institutional collaboration and jointly contribute to lifelong learning opportunities across the OIC region.
