H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK engaged in a fruitful meeting with H.E. Fadhlina SIDEK, Minister of Education of Malaysia, to strengthen the existing good ties between SESRIC and the Ministry and to explore further collaboration avenues in areas of education, skills development, and capacity-building.

H.E. SELÇUK expressed appreciation for the Ministry’s valuable contributions to SESRIC activities and initiatives in the domain of education. Furthermore, she discussed the ongoing preparations of the Centre in developing a new OIC-TVET Roadmap to ensure its alignment with current challenges faced in the sector, highlighting the importance of benefitting from the extensive expertise of the esteemed Ministry.

H.E. SIDEK reaffirmed the Ministry’s support to the ongoing joint project on the digitalization of national VET systems, and stressed on the need for organising more activities aiming at improving girls’ education, particularly in STEM, to achieve more inclusive education systems across the OIC countries.
