Date: 19-20 August 2025
Venue: Virtual-SESRIC, Ankara - Türkiye

Within the framework of the SESRIC Project on “Developing an Effective Roadmap for Facilitating Digital Transition in National VET Systems in OIC Member Countries”, which is funded under the 12th Call for Project Proposals of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organisation of the Islamic Cooperation (COMCEC) Project Funding, the Centre will organise a Working Group Meeting on “Facilitating Digital Transition of National VET Systems in OIC Countries” on 19-20 August 2025 through an online video conferencing platform.

The Meeting targets senior-level experts and policymakers from TVET authorities, relevant ministries, and national institutions responsible for digitalization and education policy development across OIC countries.

The working group meeting will focus on the digital transformation of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) systems across the OIC countries. It aims to identify key challenges and opportunities in digitalization, promote the integration of technology to enhance the TVET quality, accessibility, and efficiency, and improve graduate employability through innovative digital tools and skills. A central output will be a draft roadmap to guide member countries in their digital transition. This draft roadmap will serve as the basis for further discussion and refinement at the upcoming on-site Workshop on “Developing Roadmaps for Vocational Education and Training Systems across OIC Member Countries”, ultimately providing a direct benefit to the member countries.
