Within the framework of its Tobacco-Free Capacity Building Programme (TF-CaB), SESRIC, in collaboration with the Turkish Green Crescent Society, will organise a Training Course on “Effective Communication Strategies for Tobacco Control Advocacy” on 27-28 May 2025 via an online video conference platform.

The training course aims to enhance the communication capacities of participants engaged in tobacco control efforts across OIC countries. Its primary goal is to equip participants with practical, evidence-based tools to deliver powerful messages, respond effectively to misinformation, and engage different audiences, including policymakers, media, and the public. The course will also aim to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing among countries, helping participants learn from each other’s experiences and strategies.

Held in observance of World No Tobacco Day, this training offers a valuable opportunity to align national advocacy efforts with global tobacco control goals and public health priorities.
