SESRIC held a meeting with the Inter-Arab Union of Hotels and Tourism to discuss potential areas of collaboration in promoting and developing the Islamic and Arab tourism industry.

Both parties emphasized the necessity of consolidating efforts to improve key aspects of tourism, including skills development, hotel management, digital marketing, and the adoption of sustainable practices, among others.

The Inter-Arab Union of Hotels and Tourism is a specialized Arab organisation operating under the umbrella of the Council of Arab Economic Unity (CAEU) of the League of Arab States (LAS). The Union aims to develop the hotel and tourism sector in the Arab world by promoting investment, improving service quality, supporting tourism innovation, and developing human resources.
