H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK participated in a panel discussion titled “No Sustainability Without Women” during the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

In her intervention, H.E. SELÇUK emphasized that to truly commit to sustainable development, women must be centered in all of our local, national, and also international strategies. And to really integrate women's empowerment into our strategies, it must be embraced from the beginning of strategy-setting.

She highlighted the multi-dimensional efforts needed to boost women’s participation in education, employment, and leadership. Research shows, empowering women drives prosperity for families and communities. Yet barriers persist. Concrete action is needed with a holistic approach considering all socio-economic dimensions.
