SESRIC and the Technical Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Signed an MoU

SESRIC and the Technical Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the margins of the Human Capability Initiative Conference, held in Riyadh, to foster the collaboration between the two institutions. H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK and H.E. Dr. Adel ALZENEDY, Acting Governor of the TVTC, signed the MoU on 14 April 2025, aiming to further strengthen collaboration between SESRIC and TVTC in training and education.

The MoU is expected to contribute to and coordinate the ongoing efforts of enhancing human capacity in the national institutions of the OIC countries working in the domain of education, and particularly the vocational education and training (VET). In addition, this MoU would pave the way for leveraging expertise under the umbrella of SESRIC’s flagship programme, the Vocational Education and Training Programme for the Member Countries of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC-VET), which the Centre is the executive organ of, towards advancing TVET systems in the OIC countries.

The Human Capability Initiative (HCI) is a global cooperative platform designed to bring together international efforts and enhance dialogue on the challenges and opportunities related to the development of human capabilities. This conference is organised by the Human Capability Development Program, which is part of the Saudi Vision 2030 realization programs, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education.

The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) is a Saudi training institute established on 23 June 1980. It offers technical and vocational training programmes for both males and females, meeting the labour market's needs, and serves as the government's agency for vocational training in Saudi Arabia.
