Within the framework of its Stock Exchanges Capacity Building Programme (SE-CaB), SESRIC, in collaboration with Borsa Istanbul, the Secretariat of the OIC Exchanges Forum (OICEF), organised an online Training Course on “Sustainable Growth and Climate Resilience: Islamic Green Finance in OIC Capital Markets.”

The training course was provided by leading experts from Borsa Istanbul, Participation Banks Association of Türkiye (TKBB), and Capital Markets Board (CMB) of Türkiye. The event brought together 105 experts and executives from stock exchanges and relevant ministries and national institutions in 28 OIC countries.

Over the course of two days, participants gained insights into the following topics:

• Participation and Sustainability Indices
• Sustainable Green Financing
• Facilitator Role of the Association for the Adaptation of Participation Banks with Sustainable Finance Requirements
• Green Transformation in Islamic Capital Markets with Innovative Green Products of Participation Banks through Best Practices
• CMB’s Regulations on Green and Sustainable Bonds
