SESRIC participated in the Youth Policy Vision Document Workshop, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Türkiye on 17 December 2024 at the Middle East Technical University (METU), Ankara. Mr. Muzamil EDEMA, Researcher at the Economic and Social Research Department, and Mr. Muhammet Zeki ÇELİK, Technical Cooperation Officer at the Training and Technical Cooperation Department, represented SESRIC thereat.

The Workshop covered 11 key policy areas, including Science and Technology, Environment and Climate, Education and Lifelong Learning, and International Youth Work, aiming to gather insights from over one million young people. The SESRIC delegation joined discussions in the International Youth Work session, addressing challenges in international exchange programs and cooperation.

SESRIC introduced the OIC Youth Strategy, emphasizing its integration into national frameworks and proposing strenghtening collaboration concerning international youth activities among the OIC Member Countries.
