SESRIC participated in a reception organised by the African Diplomatic Corps in Ankara, Türkiye, on 27 May 2025, on the occasion of the 62nd anniversary of Africa Day.

The celebration was held under the theme '2025 – Year of Reparations: Justice for Africans and People of African Descent through Reparations,' highlighting the occasion's focus on justice and the experiences of African peoples and people of African descent.
