SESRIC and SAPSSI Sign MoU to Strengthen Collaboration in Public Services

SESRIC and the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations (SAPSSI) under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 14 November 2024 in Baku, on the sidelines of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP29).

H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK, Director General of SESRIC and H.E. Ulvi MEHDIYEV, Chairman of SAPSSI, signed the MoU which aims to bolster institutional and human capacities and to share the good cases of SAPPSI with the public services sectors in other OIC Member Countries through joint training and research activities.

This partnership will also facilitate joint efforts to support the member countries to achieve the relevant targets and goals of the OIC-2025 Programme of Action and the 2030 Agenda for SDGs, through capacity-building initiatives, knowledge exchange, and technical cooperation.

The State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations (SAPPSI) under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan was established in 2012. It is the central body of executive power that carries out the unified management of the “ASAN” service centres, coordinate the functions of the employees of the state agencies to act at those centres, hold control and provide assessment, carry out the mutual integration of databases of state agencies, accelerate the organization of electronic services and improve the management system in this area.
