H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Mr. Mohammad ALAMOUR, Minister of National Economy of the State of Palestine, in Istanbul, Türkiye, on the sidelines of the 40^th Ministerial Session of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMCEC).

H.E. SELÇUK emphasized SESRIC's continuous support for Palestine in its development efforts by ensuring the delivery of high-quality capacity-building activities and highlighted that SESRIC has been actively engaged in organizing a wide range of activities for Palestine, including training courses, workshops, webinars, Network Meetings, and collaborative projects aimed at building institutional capacities. She further underscored the importance of international solidarity and cooperation in strengthening Palestine’s economic resilience, particularly in these challenging times.

In turn, H.E. Mohammad ALAMOUR expressed his sincere gratitude to H.E. SELÇUK for the many initiatives SESRIC has implemented for Palestine’s public institutions. H.E. ALAMOUR also acknowledged the essential role of SESRIC in fostering cooperation among OIC countries and promoting solidarity with Palestine, particularly through its training programs and technical assistance and expressed his optimism for furthering the bilateral cooperation, particularly in the fields of economic development, statistics, and institutional capacity building.

The meeting concluded with both dignitaries underlying the importance of international support for Palestine and highlighting SESRIC’s role in advancing the development objectives of the Palestinian people, in line with the broader goals of the OIC community.
