SESRIC, in coordination with the General Secretariat of the OIC, and in collaboration with the Ministry of Sports in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Chair of the Islamic Conference on Youth and Sports Ministers (ICYSM), will organise a Training Session on “Integrating OIC Youth Strategy into the National Programmes in OIC Member Countries” on 25-26 November 2024 at SESRIC Headquarters in Ankara, Republic of Türkiye. The session will be organised in line with the resolution no.4/50-C (O.P.21 on Youth), adopted by the 50^th session of the Council of Foreign Affairs Minister (CFM) held on 29-30 August 2024 in Yaoundé, Republic of Cameroon.

The training aims to strengthen the capacities of the designated Focal Points in the Ministries responsible for Youth and Sports issues, in preparing programmes and projects and in integrating the objectives of the OIC Youth Strategy into national action plans, programmes and policies of their esteemed countries.

Through collaborative learning, exchange of best practices, countries' experiences, and networking opportunities, the training session will provide a valuable opportunity to learn about youth-related programmes and initiatives of relevant OIC institutions. The session is expected to enhance the participants’ capacities and contribute to a broader ecosystem of knowledge-sharing and cooperation among OIC countries.
