H.E. Ambassador Aftab Ahmad KHOKHER, Assistant Secretary-General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), paid a courtesy visit to SESRIC on 20 March 2025.

The discussions focused on the strong and ongoing cooperation between SESRIC and the OIC General Secretariat through joint initiatives and programmes in science, technology and innovation (STI), health, water and environment. The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on further strengthening institutional coordination and collaboration in these priority areas. Through its mandated activities in research, statistics, training and technical cooperation, SESRIC continues to contribute to sustainable development by promoting knowledge sharing and capacity building across OIC Member Countries.
