SESRIC participated in the 18^th Meeting of the OIC Exchanges Forum (OICEF), which was held virtually on 1 October 2024.

The Forum was hosted by Borsa Istanbul, the Secretariat of the OICEF, with the participation of 85 delegates from 14 Stock Exchanges, 6 Clearing, Settlement and Custody Institutions as well as 8 Sectoral Institutions including SESRIC. The Meeting concluded with the adoption of a List of Decisions based on the discussions that took place during various sessions with the aim of structuring the way forward among the relevant stakeholders.

The OIC Exchanges Forum was established in 2005 through the initiatives of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation (COMCEC) in order to strengthen cooperation and encourage the transfer of knowledge and experience among the exchanges of OIC member states. Borsa İstanbul acts as the secretariat on behalf of the Forum. Forum meetings bring together OIC exchanges, clearing and custody institutions as well as other relevant OIC institutions (IsDB, AAOFI, IIFM, IFSB, SESRIC etc.) every year.
