Training Course on ’Conducting and Analysing Labour Force Surveys for Monitoring the Labour Market’

Within the framework of its Statistical Capacity Building (StatCaB) Programme, SESRIC, in collaboration with the OIC Labour Centre, the State Statistical Committee (SSC) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Affairs of Azerbaijan, organized a training course on “Conducting and Analyzing Labour Force Surveys for Monitoring the Labour Market” on 9-10 October 2024, through an online video conferencing platform.

The training course was provided by competent experts from the SSC of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Affairs of Azerbaijan for the benefit of 115 participants from the National Statistical Offices and other governmental organizations of 25 OIC Countries.

The course covered the following topics:

  • Tools and Techniques for Labour Market Monitoring - Case of National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Affairs (Fieldwork Operation)
  • Best Practices and Case Studies in Labour Market Monitoring
