H.E. Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK and H.E. Amb. Salim Mohamed Khalifa AL BUSAIDI, Permanent Representative of Oman to the OIC, engaged in a fruitful discussion in Jeddah. The meeting highlighted the robust partnership between SESRIC and various Omani institutions, focusing on statistical activities and future cooperation in statistics, research, and training.

During the meeting, H.E. SELÇUK emphasized the significant collaboration between SESRIC and the Sultanate of Oman’s national institutions, particularly with the National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI). SESRIC has organized a total of 116 capacity-building activities, benefiting the public institutions of Oman. These activities brought together 344 participants from various national institutions in Oman, she added.

In turn, H.E. Amb. Salim Mohamed Khalifa AL BUSAIDI expressed his appreciation for H.E. SELÇUK’s kind visit, thanking for SESRIC’s impactful capacity-building programs. He acknowledged the importance of these initiatives in enhancing the statistical and research capacities of Omani institutions.

The meeting ended with both representatives underscoring the strong and enduring partnership between SESRIC and Omani institutions, reflecting their shared commitment to achieving common development goals through effective cooperation and mutual support.
